The Avance International University Journals (AIU Journals) are committed to publishing high-quality research across multiple disciplines. These author guidelines provide the necessary steps and expectations to help you prepare your manuscript for submission and successful peer review.

1. Manuscript Preparation

• Language: English (clear and grammatically correct).
• Format: Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx).
• Font & Spacing: Times New Roman, 12pt, double-spaced, 1-inch margins.
• Length: 3,000–8,000 words excluding references.

2. Article Structure

• Title: Clear and descriptive.
• Author Info: Full names, institutional affiliations, and contact emails.
• Abstract: 150–250 words summarizing objectives, methods, results, and conclusions.
• Keywords: 4–6 relevant terms.
• Main Sections: Introduction, Methodology, Results, Discussion, Conclusion.
• References: APA 7th edition format.

3. Submission Process

Manuscripts must be submitted by email to: publications@aviu.ac.ug

Upon receipt, the editorial office will acknowledge your submission via email within 48 hours. The manuscript will then be assigned to expert reviewers for evaluation according to AVIU’s publication policies, including standards on plagiarism, ethical research, and scholarly integrity.

4. Peer Review Process

The journal uses a double-blind peer review model. Authors should ensure that submitted files do not contain identifying information. Reviewers assess originality, methodology, contribution to the field, and ethical compliance.

5. Ethics & Copyright

• Submissions must be original and not under review elsewhere.
• Authors retain copyright but grant AVIU Journals non-exclusive rights to publish.
• Authors are responsible for appropriate citation and permissions.

6. Article Processing Charges

There are no submission fees. If accepted, a modest processing fee may apply to cover editorial and technical costs. Fee details will be communicated post-review.
